These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Publishers With Us (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Purpose of the site
This site presents the analysis, typesetting, XML production, metadata quality measurement and marketing services we offer to academic journal and book publishers, and lets you schedule an introductory meeting.
The information on the site is for general information only. It is not a binding offer or commitment, nor legal, financial or scientific advice. The scope, fees and terms of our services are set out in a separate written agreement with each publisher.
Meeting requests
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in the meeting form.
- The meeting details and Google Meet link are sent to your email address. To cancel or reschedule, simply reply to that email.
- In exceptional circumstances we may reschedule a meeting with prior notice.
- Meetings are free of charge and create no obligation.
Acceptable use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- act in breach of applicable law, public order or the rights of third parties;
- submit requests on someone else’s behalf, misleading requests or bulk (spam) requests through the forms;
- compromise the security of the site, disrupt its operation or place an excessive load on it (automated scraping, vulnerability scanning, uploading malware and similar);
- copy, reproduce or commercially exploit the site’s content without permission.
Intellectual property
The texts, design, logo, illustrations and software on this site belong to Publishers With Us or are used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from short quotations with attribution, they may not be used without our written permission.
Some photographs on the site are used under the Unsplash licence; the rights belong to their owners.
Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, PubMed, ORCID, ROR, JATS, Google and other names of brands and standards belong to their respective owners; mentioning them does not imply any partnership or endorsement.
Links to other sites
The site may contain links to third-party websites for information. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care to keep the site running without interruption or errors. However, the site or the meeting form may be temporarily unavailable because of technical faults, maintenance or outages of third-party services such as Google.
Without prejudice to liability that cannot be limited by law and to your rights under consumer protection law, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from decisions made on the basis of the general information on this site.
